This fabulous Antique brooch was made during the mid Victorian era, Circa 1860 and claw set with three gorgeous Paste Stones (approx. 6ct and 3ct) that have the pleasing violet hue of Amethysts.

The piece showcases superb filigree metalwork crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold gilt. The fine metal wires are curled and spiralled into an exquisite open-worked design with depictions of flowers at each end.

It is a spectacular brooch and displays the expert craftsmanship and grandeur of Victorian design.
